Overview

Here I will be recording my experiences while I take my boat home. This will be my longest voyage aboard a boat. The journey I have planned will go from Harbors End Marina, Henderson NY to Sandy Creek Marina, Hamlin NY.

Though I have enjoyed much of my time spent exploring the golden crescent, I can not enjoy my boat the way I like to while it is two and a half hours away. I enjoy a spin after work and still being home before too late. I want it to be more of a spur of the moment option as the weather suggests and the time permits. Weekends don't have to be dedicated to a mad dash down to make the most of having it and make it easier to work on it for me. The ride home is just long enough to fade the memories of the fun had if only a little.

The boat came to me as I had been out here with a friend several times and saw it. It was still there in the fall and was already pretty cheap when I asked about it. The owner offered a deal too good to pass up and I bought it. I ended up selling my old boat with all its equipment. I got a pretty penny for her since the motor I put on it and made run really made it pop. That for my slip at Harbors End Marina for the next year and then some.

This was how she looked when I first laid eyes on her. Blue even, my favorite color.  She was destined to become my new AoxomoxoA.
