Motoring

Writing from Sodua tonight. I showered for the first time since I left Saturday and it felt good. I was hoping to be in Rochester by tonight but with the issues I overcame I am happy to be at the south end of the lake at least. Brad picked me up here and made a mad dash back to get my car..

When I returned, a kind soul opened the office to me where the bathrooms and showers are.

Funny thing about the crossing was the entire way I was constantly wondering how anyone gets lost with all the big landmarks available. Oswego stared at me the whole way and stayed on my left as I passed it going diagonally all the way.

Up at 6, breakfast, finished installing circulation pump by 9 or so.Test spin to association then across to wescott beach and back to Harbors End. Great trip! Sub and drink and pack the rest into the boat around noon and then final cleanup.

Left HH just after 1pm
Stony Point lighthouse, ~2pm
Last land I saw up close for 3 hours

Poor or no cell signal 3:30
Arrived in Sodus just after 5pm
Picking up my car around 7:30

I covered 63 miles in about 4 hours total the longest stretch being 50 miles straight across open water.
